It is my family tradition to leave the day after thanksgiving and travel up to the mountains by Fish Lake and cut our own Christmas tree. This was Nick's first time going (and at first I think he thought it was a bit crazy), but we all had so much fun. Nick and I drove down after he finished work on Friday night. We stayed in a hotel in Richfield and went swimming with all the cousins and then stayed up late and watched a show on tv. The next morning we woke up early (6:30) and had some breakfast and drove about another hour up the mountain. It was a lot of driving, but this is mine and Nick's first Christmas tree and we love it! We had a lot of fun hunting for it and cutting it down together! It was a lot more work than driving to a tree lot, but we think our tree is extra special! :) Merry Christmas to everyone!
