A few weeks ago, my friend Kristy was married in the SaltLakeTemple to Ryan White. It was such a beautiful day with sunny skies - a little chilly, but nice. Nick and I were invited to the sealing and it was so special. That was the second time that Nick and I had been to a sealing at the SaltLakeTemple since we had been married (the first time was at our friend's Ryan & Chelsea's wedding one year exactly from the day Nick & I were married). It brought back wonderful memories of our wedding day and the promises that we made to each other. After the sealing, we waited outside for the newlyweds. There was a little drama for Kristy because her zipper wouldn't zip up on her wedding dress! We were all worried for her while we waited...but she did come out without any problems. She looked so gorgeous. We took pictures outside and visited with Kristy's family. Nick and I went with Brittney that night to Kristy's reception. We met up with Whitney and Oakleigh too. It was a wonderful day and it was great to be at the temple and with Nick.
Cute pictures Alli! I'm glad you guys had such a nice time. Also, love your new blog background! ;) Miss you! (are you still maybe coming to AZ this month??)
Looks like fun! I love going to other people's sealings because you can really listen and it's so amazing! Cute pictures. You are so gorgeous! We need to get together again.
Thanks Alli. You're so nice. The brown paint was Baer that my friend gave me. The handles were the metal paint from Michaels. I just sanded everything and then rolled it on. If you look too closely it doesn't look so professional, but I figure it's better than before so it works.
